John Anderson, DDS, MD
A Board Eligible Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who is trained extensively in Full-Scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He specializes in full arch implant rehabilitation, wisdom teeth removal, and Orthognathic/TMJ surgery.
Dr. Anderson was born and raised in Los Angeles. He attended University of California, Santa Barbara for his undergraduate studies where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He was then accepted into the prestigious Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
He then completed his rigorous comprehensive surgical training in Chicago at University of Illinois Hospital and Northwestern Memorial Hospital under the direction of the world renowned Dr. Michael Miloro. During his time in Chicago he also earned his Medical Degree.
Dr. Anderson is happy to have finally returned home to sunny Southern California with his wife. He enjoys surfing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Benjamin Palla, DMD, MD
A Board Eligible Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon trained extensively in Full-Scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He specializes in full arch implant rehabilitation, orthognathic/TMJ surgery, and trigeminal nerve repair.
Dr. Palla was a Phi Beta Kappa Society Member at Loyola University Chicago, and was an International Ricci Scholar, conducting dental public health research in Beijing and Rome. He attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed a research rotation in Munich focused on Medication-related Osteonecrosis of the Jaws.
Ben was happy to return to Chicago for residency at University of Illinois Chicago with the world renown Dr. Michael Miloro. During residency, Ben was heavily involved in research, traveling to Munich, Germany and Leuven, Belgium to focus on trigeminal nerve injuries. He is a reviewer for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and has over 20 publications in the Journal of the American Dental Association, Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Journal of Craniotomy-Maxillofacial Surgery, and Scientific Reports.
It took little convincing from Dr. Anderson for Ben and his wife to join him in Southern California. On weekends, Dr. Palla enjoys staying active and relaxing with running, hiking, yoga, and now attempting to learn how to surf.
Stephen Needle, DDS, MS
Dr. Needle is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His practice is full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with emphasis on dental implants and reconstructive surgery. He maintains full attending staff surgical privileges at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center and St. John’s Health Center. He is currently the Chief of the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Surgery at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center.
Dr. Needle attended UCLA for both his undergraduate and dental school education. After earning his DDS degree, he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center, where he earned an MS in Oral Surgery.
