Dental Implants

Dental Implants are titanium metal cylinders that replace tooth roots. They are placed into the jaw bones where bone grows into them and locks them in place. Dental implants are the most effective way to replace missing teeth. They are regarded as the most important advances in dentistry in the last 50 years.

Bone Grafting

A bone graft is used to provide good quantity and quality of bone at the desired site for proper form and function. Bone grafting can allow for successful dental implant therapy and they can be a critical part of your treatment plan to restore your smile.

Wisdom Tooth Extractions

Wisdom teeth, or third molars, are the last teeth to develop in the mouth. They come in during the time of life that has been called the “Age of Wisdom” (17-25 years old). 9 out of 10 patients will have an impacted, or unable to fully enter the mouth, wisdom tooth that requires extraction. Complications of impacted wisdom teeth are infection, damage to adjacent teeth, and the formation of cysts.

Sedation

We are experts in all aspects of pain and anxiety control, including general anesthesia/deep sedation, and conscious sedation. We have extensive training training in ambulatory anesthesia and airway management, preparing us to administer safe and effective anesthesia services in the dental office.

TMJ

The Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) is the joint that connects your jawbone to your skull. Our training includes the diagnosis and surgical/non-surgical management of TMJ disorders. This allows the patient to regain normal function while eliminating pain.

Orthognathic Surgery

Orthognathic surgery is performed to correct abnormalities of the jaws and facial bones. Patient’s with these abnormalities usually present with problems with speech, chewing food, and the esthetic appearance of the face. Surgical treatment is usually conducted in combination with Orthodontics.

Facial Trauma

We routinely repair complex facial injuries, set fractured jaw or facial bones, and treat other injuries of the face and neck region.

Gum Grafting

Gum grafting requires careful placement of a small amount of new tissue to augment an area with thinning gums or gum recession. Gum grafting can enhance the esthetics of your smile and reduce your risk of severe gum disease.

All-on-4 Dental Implants

The All-on-4 treatment is a durable and cost-effective treatment that provides patient with a fixed full arch prosthesis on the day of surgery. In other words, this is the “Jaw in a day” procedure to restore a full set of teeth.

Nerve Repair

Parasthesia, or numbness/tingling, is a common complaint when a nerve is damaged during an oral surgery procedure. Having trained under the internationally recognized expert in trigeminal nerve repair, Dr. Michael Miloro, we are pleased to be able to offer niche treatment for this debilitating problem.

“I was very anxious to get my tooth extracted and replaced with an implant, but with Dr. Anderson’s help, it was so easy!”
